Penguins Injuries: Bad News on Lizotte, Okuliar

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. — The Pittsburgh Penguins might need to tap into their forward depth sooner than expected.

Monday morning, the team announced that tenacious fourth-line center Blake Lizotte suffered an upper-body injury and is out week-to-week. Last season, Lizotte claimed the Penguins' fourth-line role with Connor Dewar and Noel Acciari as his wingers, and earned a new three-year contract with a $2.25 million salary cap hit.
