Penguins Re-Assign McGroarty; More News Possible

Perhaps it will be a harbinger of good news for the Pittsburgh Penguins but Thursday, the team re-assigned young forward Rutger McGroarty to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL.

McGroarty, 22, broke camp with the NHL team largely due to injuries. He was a healthy scratch Thursday in the first game of the season as the Penguins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 7-0.
