Peterborough part ways with manager Luke Williams

Peterborough United have parted company with manager Luke Williams following Saturday's disappointing 2-0 home defeat by Doncaster Rovers, a result which left Posh second from bottom of League One.

Williams had been in charge for 11 months, overseeing 47 competitive matches. Peterborough won 17 of those games but suffered 20 defeats, with their recent league form proving decisive. They have managed just two victories in their last 22 League One fixtures and have won only once in seven matches this season.
