Transfer to league rivals
Phillip Verhounig is transferring from FC Red Bull Salzburg to league rivals RZ Pellets WAC, where he has signed a three-year contract.
The 20-year-old from Carinthia has played in Salzburg since the beginning of 2020. Since then, he has played for the Red Bull Academy (U15, U16 and U18 teams, winning four titles), our UEFA Youth League squad (11 appearances, 9 goals; top scorer in 2024/25) and FC Liefering (63 appearances, 23 goals).
