Projecting Devils' new-look lineup for 2026-27 season

With four preseason games right around the corner before the Devils host the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 1, the team's starting lineup and depth chart are coming into clearer view.

Sunny Mehta has worked hard in his first offseason as Devils general manager to build a team best suited to the traditional, highly structured playing style favored by head coach Sheldon Keefe. Most recently - and arguably, most notably - Mehta traded two draft picks to the Nashville Predators for forward Luke Evangelista.
