Red Sox' Braiden Ward waiting for his postseason moment

NEW YORK — Even as an attendant unloaded his belongings into a locker in the Yankee Stadium clubhouse and he answered questions from a small group of reporters, Braiden Ward felt in limbo Monday.

On Sunday night, he had traveled with the Red Sox from Tampa, having been summoned from the team's training complex in Fort Myers, where he spent the previous week with some other players in the organization in "get-ready" mode, Ward was unsure of his status.
