Red Sox trade former top prospect to Giants

The Boston Red Sox aren't slowing down as the MLB trade deadline approaches.

After already making several significant additions to strengthen their roster, Boston has completed another notable deal. According to MLB insider Jeff Passan, the Red Sox have acquired left-handed reliever Erik Miller from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for former top infield prospect Marcelo Mayer.
