Report: 49ers to work out former MVP quarterback

The San Francisco 49ers will work out quarterback Jack Plummer, the reigning UFL MVP, on Wednesday, according to KPRC 2's Aaron Wilson. Plummer also has a workout scheduled with the Miami Dolphins next week, per Wilson.

Plummer, who led the Orlando Storm to an 8-2 record as a starter in 2026, threw for 2,189 yards and 17 touchdowns against just one interception, completing 65% of his passes for a 104.2 rating. He added 189 yards and two scores on the ground, capping a UFL season that made him one of the most productive quarterbacks in the league.
