Ideally, he wants to head to the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico with a concrete decision. Otherwise, the negotiations will be put on hold while he focus on the national team.

Undav's current deal runs until mid-2027 and both club and player want to keep working together. However, Stuttgart would have to make significant concessions regarding his salary.

According to reports, the club are looking to increase his salary from €4.5 million ($5.24 million) to €6 million.

Undav scored 25 goals for Stuttgart in all competitions this season and is a fan favourite.

The World Cup start on June 11 and Germany start the tournament against Curaçao on June 14.
