A Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's largest online retailer, Wildberries, has set a logistics centre in the Vladimir region to the east of Moscow on fire, the company said on Monday.

Governor Alexander Avdeyev said two people had been injured in the attack.

Ukraine has been attacking Wildberries facilities since mid-July, accusing the retailer of also supplying needs for Russia's war against Ukraine.

Russian authorities described the strikes as terrorist attacks against civilian infrastructure.

The attack in the Vladimir region, around 190 kilometres east of Moscow, was the 18th on Wildberries so far, Russian media reported.

Economic analysts estimate that Wildberries has so far lost about 20% of its warehouse capacity due to the attacks, with the total cost of the damage estimated at 280 billion roubles ($3.5 billion).

In Belgorod, meanwhile, there were reports of attacks on the city's technical university. Social networks circulated footage that could not immediately be verified which was said to show the university building on fire.

The Russian Telegram channel Pepel reported that the structure had burned down completely. There was initially no information from the authorities.

The university is considered a regional centre for the development and testing of drones.
