Russian occupation authorities say 13 killed in Ukrainian attacks

At least 13 civilians were killed in Ukrainian drone attacks in Russian-occupied areas of eastern and southern Ukraine, the Russian occupation authorities said on Monday.

Another 22 people were injured, the Moscow-installed regional administrations said on Telegram. A large part of the attacks targeted motor vehicles, they said.

The dead included at least two lorry drivers and the occupants of several cars, according to the information, which could not be independently verified.

Ukraine has been defending itself for more than four years, with Western help, against a full-scale Russian invasion. In recent weeks, the Ukrainian army has expanded its drone attacks on Russia's hinterland.

Previously, Kiev called on the remaining Ukrainian civilian population to flee.
