Samford preps for home opener on short week

HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WIAT) — Samford football lost its first game under new head coach John Grass in Huntsville on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell to North Alabama, 22-10.

They are now getting ready for their home opener against Southern Illinois on Thursday night. The Salukis started their season with a 34-31 upset loss to West Florida.
