SaVeon Brown is Buffalo's everyman on defense
In college football, it's not often that schools in smaller conferences have such a unique player on either side of the ball. After all, due to their limited resources, the only hope they may have is developing the players they are able to recruit. That is not the case with the Buffalo Bulls however, as one player could cause some chaos for the Nittany Lions in their Week 3 matchup.
SaVeon Brown may not have looked like a savvy transfer for Buffalo when he arrived on campus, but he has quickly become an intuitive player that opposing teams simply must account for. Utilized as a "Hoof" or "Hybrid" nickel/safety, Penn State will have to know where Brown is at all times. The reason for Brown's success? Resiliency stemming from self-belief and determination amidst a whole lot of adversity.
