SDSU soccer breaks ground on brand new stadium

BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — South Dakota State women's soccer has been a huge success since hitting the pitch in 2000 and on Tuesday afternoon the team marked the beginning of its next era with a groundbreaking for a brand new stadium.

The shovels went down, dirt came up and the brand new home of SDSU women's soccer, Dakota Layers Stadium is set to open on campus next year.
