Seahawks need more from LB Tyrice Knight in 2026

The Seattle Seahawks got a breakout season from then-rookie linebacker Tyrice Knight in 2024. The fourth-round selection out of UTEP registered 88 tackles after breaking into the starting lineup roughly midway through the year. Expectations were high for Knight as a sophomore in 2025, but he failed to meet them.

A combination of injury and inconsistent play derailed Knight's second season. The ex Miners standout recorded just 57 tackles, 31 fewer than his rookie output. Knight played 307 snaps, accounting for just 27.35% of Mike Macdonald's defensive plays. It was far less than he played as a rookie (551, 48.72%).
