Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet 21-day practice window officially activated

The Seattle Seahawks could be getting some much-needed reinforcements at the running back position in the near future. On Thursday morning, the team announced they were officially designating running back Zach Charbonnet to return to practice. Head coach Mike Macdonald said this was a possibility during Wednesday's press conference, and now it has become reality.

Charbonnet still has a ways to go before we finally see him on the field. The former UCLA standout began the season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, which meant he was guaranteed to miss at least four games. Since it is now Week 4, Charbonnet still has one more game to go before the Seahawks can even think about elevating him back to the active 53-man roster. But the fact he can return to practice is a good sign that he could be on his way back sooner than later.
