Seahawks waive former Georgia running back
The Seattle Seahawks have waived running back Kenny McIntosh, a former Georgia Bulldog. McIntosh won Super Bowl 60 with the Seahawks last season, but it was bittersweet. McIntosh tore his ACL prior to the 2025 NFL season and watched Seattle's triumphant season from the sidelines.
McIntosh was placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on July 20. Seattle elected to waive McIntosh, which means he is likely not healthy yet. McIntosh was expected to make $1.1 million in 2026 and was entering a contract year. He hopes to find a new niche in the NFL.
