The Denver Broncos hosted more than 100 coaches from 46 different high schools at Thursday's practice during organized team activities (OTAs).

The Broncos have been heavily involved in high school football across the state, most visibly with the team's ALL IN. ALL COVERED. helmet initiative which will provide over 15,000 Riddell Axiom helmets to every tackle program in Colorado.

Denver coach Sean Payton spoke about the presence of the high school coaches at their practice.

"It’s good to have them out here," said Payton. "Every one of these guys, myself included, are impacted by our high school coaches. Mine was tremendous and had a lot to do with why I’m sitting here right now. It is a family where you’re constantly learning new techniques, new ideas. We’re huge fans, obviously, of the jobs they do.”

After practice, Payton took a group photo with the high school coaches.

Coaches at the highest level were impacted by their own coaches. Don't ever think you are not making a positive difference in a young player's life.
