See where Miami Hurricanes rank in College Football 27 ratings
College football season is upon us! Though there's still more than two months until the Miami Hurricanes take the field again, fans can start their virtual drive for a sixth national championship over the next week with College Football 27.
Miami came oh so close to winning the national championship in January, and they're among the favorites to play for the title again this year. That's reflected in EA Sports' latest iteration of the world-renowned college football video game series, in which the 'Canes rank firmly in the top 10 and boast one of the best offenses in the game.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementCFB 27 cover athlete Malachi Toney comes in as one of the highest-rated players among the thousands included in the game. Last year's team featured three players with an overall rating of 90 at the start of the season. Toney is one of five such players in this version, joined by senior Mark Fletcher Jr., third among all running backs. New quarterback Darian Mensah is part of that group too, and if the game's metrics are accurate, he'll have one of the deepest arsenals in the entire nation.

College Football 27 release date: When does CFB 27 come out?
The wide release of College Football 27 is set for Thursday, July 9, with digital versions available at 11 a.m. ET. Those who pay for EA's MVP+ subscription will get access starting Thursday, July 2, while gamers who buy the CFB 27 Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle with Madden 27 will gain access Monday, July 6.

For the first time since its return, EA Sports' College Football game will be available to play on PC. CFB 27 will be out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, the EA app, Steam and Epic Games.
