A little league team from South Jersey is heading to the East Regional tournament in Maine on Monday after winning the state championship.

A pep rally was held Sunday night for the Blackwood Kiwanis Senior League team.

The team, made up of 14, 15 and 16 year-olds went undefeated to win the state title.

The Blackwood baseball club hasn't done that since 1957.

Winning the East Region would send the team to the Little League Senior League World Series in South Carolina.
