South Shore top performers | OA girls volleyball begins title defense

Oliver Ames girls volleyball has begun its MIAA Division 2 state title defense in fashion.

On Tuesday, Sept. 8, OA opened the season with a 3-0 sweep of Taunton. The Tigers roared in the first set, winning 25-6. They followed that up with 25-12 wins in sets two and three to take the victory. Head coach Chelsea Cunningham named senior Kerryn Cairns the player of the game thanks to her defensive efforts.
