Southern’s Trey Holly, Christian Johnson earn SWAC weekly honors

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Two Southern University football players earned weekly conference honors after helping the Jaguars secure a 50-31 win over Louisiana Christian.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference named Trey Holly as Offensive Player of the Week. Quarterback Christian Johnson earned Newcomer of the Week honors.
