Steelers open season with familiar faces in new place

PITTSBURGH (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) — The Pittsburgh Steelers are opening their 2026 season at home against the Atlanta Falcons, the first time they have opened at home since 2023.

While the team has not played the Falcons since 2023, the Steelers will recognize some familiar faces donning the red and black. Atlanta had a full overhaul in the offseason, removing head coach Raheem Morris and releasing veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins.
