American Legion playoffs

Leominster 4, Hudson 1: Mark Garner had two hits and two runs, Brendan Mariani singled and drove in two and Cam Cirone singled, scored and drove in a run as host Post 151 defeated Post 100.

Leominster advanced to host Shrewsbury at 5:30 p.m. Friday at McLaughlin Park. Hudson traveled to face Northbridge at 5:30 p.m. Friday in an elimination game.

Blake Freitas smacked two hits and drove in Brady Quirion while Nathan Machado fanned 11 for Hudson.

Milford 7, Cherry Valley 4: Joey McGee (2-3, 2 RBIs, 2 runs) and Matt Pedroli (3-3, 3 runs) both belted homers as host Post 59 downed Post 443.

Milford's Joey McGee went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs, and Nick Pedroli was 3 for 4 with a triple, an RBI and two runs. Post 59 hosted Grafton at 7 p.m. Friday, while Post 443 played at North County at 5:30 p.m. Friday in an elimination game.

Raymond Romero, Andrew Lancette and Andrew Cloutier all singled and scored for Charry Valley.

Grafton 2, North County 0: Charlie Law scored both runs, while Haylan Oberg and Kellen Carson each had an RBI as host Post 92 blanked Post 193.

Grafton pitcher Storm Ellison allowed one hit and struck out 12 in a complete game shutout. Post 92 heads plays at Milford at 7 p.m. Friday, while North County hosted Cherry Valley in an elimination game at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
