Sunderland defender Brown signs new deal

Sunderland defender Jess Brown has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

The Lady Black Cats announced the news via a post on their official club website earlier today.

The 22-year-old is Sunderland's longest serving player. She joined their Regional Talent Club (RTC) in 2014 before progressing up to the first team. Brown has made 144 appearances for Sunderland in all competitions while she has scored six goals.
