Tchouameni set to start against Spain -report

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is set to feature in France’s starting lineup when Les Bleus take on the Spanish national team in the FIFA World Cup Semifinals tonight, according to a report published on L’Equipe. Tchouameni has spent the last few days recovering from a thigh injury he picked up during the Group Stage, but it looks like he will be ready to play and replace Koné in Deschamps’ starting lineup.

Tchouameni’s presence will increase France’s odds of advancing to the Final. He has been a crucial midfielder in Deschamps’ scheme and Spain present a tough challenge in that midfield line.
