Team Penske Sends Warning After Major Breakthrough at Kansas

Team Penske spent much of the season searching for answers on NASCAR's intermediate tracks.

At Kansas Speedway, Austin Cindric and Ryan Blaney may have finally found some.

Cindric finished runner-up Sunday after putting together one of the strongest races of his Cup Series career. Blaney charged from 25th to fifth and was still closing on the leaders when the laps ran out. Even Joey Logano spent much of the afternoon in contention for a solid finish before a right-front tire problem with three laps remaining dropped him to 20th.
