TENNESSEE LADY VOLS SOCCER: Draw with Texas keeps UT unbeaten

The No. 8 Tennessee soccer team secured a 2-2 draw in the second match of SEC play on Friday night at Texas, coming from behind to remain unbeaten in the 2026 season.

The Lady Vols (6-0-2, 1-0-1) opened the contest in familiar fashion, finding the back of the net in the 11th minute to take a 1-0 lead. A nifty finish by Shae O'Rourke, who notched her third goal of the season, gave Tennessee the advantage. Cory Fry, the lone freshman to start every match for the Lady Vols thus far in 2026, earned the first point of her collegiate career with an assist on the play.
