The Atlanta Dream just got bad injury news

Atlanta Dream center Brionna Jones will miss the rest of the WNBA season after sustaining a left leg injury against the Connecticut Sun on August 13, the team announced on Thursday. Jones missed the six games prior to the FIBA World Cup break, the latest setback in what's been a very injury-riddled campaign.
Jones suffered a meniscus injury playing in Prague in January, and the Dream announced in March that she had undergone surgery. She made her season debut on July 17th, but played just a few weeks before again going down with injury. In total, Jones has appeared in just 9 games this season for Atlanta, averaging 8.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game.
