The high school superstar broke more records than a kid in a music store smash room, and lead his Bullitt East program to the state championship in 2023, posting up passing yards, rushing yards, and touchdowns like he was competing against toddlers. Since his arrival on campus Egan has fought through some injuries (2025) and is now looking to identify where his spot is relative to the rest of the team. Listed as a TE/QB in the program (yeah, that's a real thing), Egan is likely to see more reps at TE than he is to sling the ball all over the field, but the staff raves about his athleticism and you can tell they are itching to find ways to get him involved. While I have zero insight into the discussions, some "Wildcard" type sets come to mind like they ran with Deuce last year where he can throw, but also has flexibility to run or make plays in space. Glad he's healthy once again, and excited to see if they can find a spot to place this uber-athletic piece of the puzzle.
