The Daily: Horcoff Still Interim-GM; Draft Stays Away

Yesterday was one of the last pre-season meetings between the National Hockey League's assorted general managers and head coaches. The 32 teams and their top executives sat down in their respective home offices to discuss a variety of matters over Zoom, though there was of course, one notable exception.

The Red Wings, for the moment without an official title-holder, had interim GM Shawn Horcoff representing Detroit. Horcoff has previously been named as one of the contenders for the Red Wings GM job, though no word has passed on if the team has made any final decisions in the process, with several external candidates not yet eliminated from contention.
