The defending ACC Champions started off the year with a win against a team that played in last year's College Football Playoff. They followed that up with a road win against a Big Ten school. Then, they annihilated a conference opponent in their ACC opener before trouncing a FCS cupcake, as good teams do.

If that team wasn't Duke, this would be a major part of the national conversation.
