One more variable has entered Missouri's preseason picture this week, and it arrived on the sideline.

Head coach Dawn Sullivan completed her coaching staff Thursday with the addition of Atanas Petrov, an internationally accomplished coach whose résumé spans more than 25 years across Europe and the international volleyball scene. While the position battles on the court remain, perhaps the biggest storyline entering August is adding another experienced voice to the bench. This could quietly become one of the program's most important offseason moves.
