EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The North Huskies junior ace Aaron Humphrey selected in 4A. The right-handed starting pitcher was big all season for North.
In the 4A Semi-State game he had an RBI which added to the lead and gave North a 2-0 win over top 25 ranked Center Grove.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIn 2A, Mater Dei’s Max Miller was also awarded.
Miller pitched in the wildcats state championship win over Bluffton, and had the game-winning RBI single in 8th inning which brought Mater Dei their first title since 1999.
Northeast Dubois also had a selection; Sam Beck was selected by the coach’s association. He helped the Jeeps get to their first baseball state title game in school history a season ago.
