Three Positives From the Week of July 19th

This was an impossible task. To find even one positive moment from a week that included five losses in a row was a challenge. Yet, we persist.

Alas, our saving grace of the week. Third baseman José Ramírez returned to the field on Wednesday after being placed on the Injured List with a left hamate fracture on June 14th. The perennial All-Star was not able to attend this year's Midsummer Classic due to the injury, and the team had definitely been feeling the loss in their games over the past month. While the Guardians have not won a single game since his return, he collected two hits in five at bats in his first game back. Once he's back in the swing of things, he will hopefully be able to contribute to a lot more wins.
