Detroit — The Tigers-Twins game, for the second straight night, has been delayed by the threat of storms.

They tried to dodge a pop-up storm that was scheduled to hit right at game time (6:40 p.m.). Both teams warmed up and the game actually started at 6:47 p.m.

Tigers' lefty Framber Valdez pitched a scoreless first inning, throwing 11 pitches. But as the Tigers were coming up to bat in the bottom of the first, the fans were asked to seek shelter and the tarp was rushed onto the field at Comerica Park.

The game is expected to be resumed at 7:55 p.m.
