The transfer market soap opera has come to an end. FC Barcelona and Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal have reached a definitive agreement for Portuguese full-back JoĆ£o Cancelo to remain permanently with the Catalan club, with only the formal signing of the official documents still pending.

Cancelo, who already spent the last six months on loan with the Blaugrana side, will sign a new contract tying him to the club for the next two seasons. The transfer has been structured at a fee of around ā‚¬10 million.
