Tournament honors fallen deputy on 54th birthday

MADISON, S.D. (KELO) — The inaugural 'The Rock' Legion baseball tournament wrapped up Sunday, honoring a fallen local law enforcement officer Ken Prorok in more ways than one.

Sunday's semifinal and championship games did more than just crown a winner; they marked what would have been the Moody County Chief Deputy's 54th birthday. Family and friends said the timing was a complete coincidence, but it made the tournament's final day deeply meaningful.
