Tua Tugovailoa named starting QB
Atlanta Falcons QB Tua Tagovailoa was named the starting quarterback for Week 1, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Why it Matters: Michael Penix didn't believe he was ready to return for Week 1 and has barely practiced. The plan is to get him a couple more weeks of work as he returns from a torn ACL. Tagovailoa will be a midrange QB2 in two-QB leagues against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
