Two Nerazzurri in action in the Nations League

The international action continued on Tuesday 29 September, with two Inter players featuring for their respective national teams: Petar Sučić and Manuel Akanji.

Akanji's Switzerland made it two wins from two. After beating North Macedonia, they followed up with a 3-0 victory over Scotland in Glasgow. Ricardo Rodríguez, Nico Elvedi and Zeki Amdouni scored at Hampden Park, where the hosts were reduced to ten men following Hendry's dismissal in the eleventh minute. Akanji captained Switzerland and played the full 90 minutes. His side lead League B Group 1 with six points, ahead of Slovenia on four, with Scotland and North Macedonia both on one.
