UE & USI improve in Mayor’s Cup tie

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Despite neither team actually winning the fifth annual Mayor's Cup, both the University of Evansville men's soccer and the University of Southern Indiana team improved in the nil-nil match.

At times the intensity of the rivalry took over the match, with both teams being penalized for fouls. In total there were six yellow cards and one red card given out do to the physicality. Though these penalties can be costly, playing physicality isn't always a bad thing.
