Tommy McMillen proved he’s the real deal earlier tonight (Sat., July 18, 2026) at UFC Oklahoma LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as the rising featherweight prospect delivered an absolute dynamite TKO (punches and knees) over hard-nosed counterpart Alberto Montes.

Outside of the main event, this fight had the most attention entering Saturday’s fight card in OKC. Both McMillen and Montes shared bad blood throughout fight week and nearly came to blows during Friday’s weigh ins. It added even more spice to an anticipated return to action for McMillen, who as most know trains alongside former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley.

Overall, this was a complete striking masterclass by McMillen. Montes had some good spots and even scored multiple knockdowns, but McMillen unloaded over 500 total strikes deep into the third round. McMillen threw a little bit of everything, including combinations from range, whipping strikes to the body, sharp elbows and knees inside, and violent upper cuts. It was a miracle that Montes remained standing, but the referee eventually saw enough and stepped in for late stoppage.
