UK designates IRGC as terrorist organisation

The UK government has designated Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation under new measures allowing foreign state bodies deemed a national security threat to be listed. Those who support or assist the IRGC could face up to 14 years in prison.
