Under-17 bow out of the Youth Club World Cup

On the afternoon of this Monday (7), São Paulo's U-17 team was defeated 2-0 by Athletico-PR at Estadio Ciudad de Lucena, in Lucena, Spain, in the semifinal of the Youth Club World Cup.

The opening ten minutes were dominated by São Paulo. Coached by Alexandre Torrezan, the team stayed in the attacking half and created good chances to open the scoring. In the very first minute, João Bispo passed to Aguilar, who tried his luck from outside the box, but the opposing goalkeeper made the save. In the 7th minute, Zabarelli also attempted a long-range shot, but the goalkeeper held onto it. In the 26th minute, the opposition opened the scoring.
