USC announces captains for 2026 football season

USC is officially 1-0! On Saturday, the Trojans opened up their 2026 campaign with a 42-26 victory over San Jose State at the Coliseum.

Ahead of kickoff, USC announced its 2026 team captains. They are quarterback Jayden Maiava, offensive lineman Kilian O'Connor, offensive lineman Tobias Raymond, defensive lineman Alex VanSumeren, and defensive lineman Jide Abasiri.
