USC leaned on run game in win over Rutgers

Jayden Maiava did not light up the Rutgers Scarlet Knights' defense. Instead, in this game, the backbone of the Trojans' offense was the run game. King Miller, for a second straight week, ran for 100 yards.

King Miller was my MVP for Saturday's game. When Maiava was not connecting with his pass catchers and the offense struggled, King Miller was the solution. King Miller's improved physicality and the strength he brings with him when he runs the ball were evident again in this game. King Miller is not only going to run away from defenders, but he is delivering aggression to guys who try to tackle him.
