Watch: Bridge collapses and car swept away in China river
An eyewitness caught the moment a car on the edge of a broken bridge in China fell into a fast-flowing river after the structure gave way on 25 May.
The incident occurred in flood hit Xiaogan, a city in China's Hubei province, after days of heavy and prolonged rainfall.
The driver and passengers managed to escape the vehicle which had malfunctioned and was unable to reverse, local media reports said.
