June is typically a quieter month in the NFL, but the 2026 offseason is bucking that trend.

The month started off with a couple of blockbuster trades. A.J. Brown was sent from the Philadelphia Eagles to the New England Patriots in a long-anticipated deal while the Cleveland Browns shocked the NFL world by trading Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams.

Those deals provided NFL fans some excitement in the midst of the doldrums of the offseason. And soon, more will be created as teams open their mandatory minicamps for the 2026 NFL season.

The league's offseason team activities (OTAs) are voluntary, so minicamp will represent the first set of mandatory practices. It will be important to watch potential no-shows for the sessions, especially among players known to be seeking new contracts.

Jacoby Brissett and George Pickens will be two of the most notable players to watch with that in mind. Brissett is known to be seeking a raise as the Arizona Cardinals entrust him as the team's starting quarterback and could hold out if he doesn't get it.

Meanwhile, Pickens is set to play on the franchise tag in 2026. The Dallas Cowboys have made it clear they don't plan on giving him a long-term extension this offseason, but coach Brian Schottenheimer is expecting the 25-year-old receiver to be at mandatory minicamp even despite that.

Plenty more storylines will develop at mandatory minicamp, especially as the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings hold two of the NFL's most wide-open quarterback competitions.

Here's a look at the NFL's minicamp schedule for 2026 and the dates of each teams mandatory workouts.
