White Sox Weekly: July 20-26, 2026

There is distance growing between the first-place White Sox and those pesky Cleveland Guardians. A series victory in Arlington mixed with a singule win against the Astros created a 2 1/2-game division lead for the Good Guys. This, helped by the fact that Cleveland has now lost five in a row, created some much-needed breathing room as the club stares down the Yankees and the Rays this upcoming week.

After taking two of three in Arlington against the Rangers, I can confidently say the White Sox have figured out how to win on the road. They have not dropped an away series since they were swept in Detroit in June. The club landed in Texas and immediately made a statement.
