The figures reveal that 468 children have been registered with the name "Haaland", while another 91 have been given his full first and last names – Erling Haaland.
The remarkable trend follows the striker's impressive performances at the World Cup, where he scored seven goals before Norway's tournament came to an end in the quarter-finals against England.
One of his standout moments came when he scored twice against Brazil, helping eliminate the South American giants and further cementing his status as one of world football's biggest stars.

Speaking about the unusual trend, Reniec spokesperson Ivan Torres explained: "Different football stars serve as inspiration for Peruvians to register their children with these names."
Haaland is far from the only football icon to receive the honour in Peru.
Registry figures show there are currently 3,402 people named Messi and 1,185 named Ronaldo in tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Neymar remains the country's most popular football-inspired baby name by a considerable margin, with almost 34,000 Peruvians sharing the Brazilian superstar's name.
Haaland has enjoyed another stellar season for Manchester City and continues to establish himself as one of football's biggest global stars.
